    Here we go exploring Vietnam‘s north end, Ha Giang province, last tourism frontier in growing evolution. HA GIANG The city of Ha Giang, about 70,000 inhabitants, lies some 300 km north to Hanoi, developing along the banks of river Lo. As told in our previous post, the bus from Cao Bang and Bao Lam dropped us south to the city, so we opted for a random guesthouse in the suburbs, as the only things we need are a motorcycle and a bed.     STORY OF A WHOLE DAY ON A MINIBUS: FROM CAO BANG TO HA GIANG

    Today we have to travel from Cao Bang to Ha Giang, northern Vietnam, for 235 km by minibus, which in normal conditions would take 3-4 hours, but in abnormal conditions like ours will extend up to 12 hours! CAO BANG Sweet wake up at 4.45 am and we head walking to Cao Bang bus station. Our question is “will there be a direct bus to Ha Giang?”, answer of course is no.
